June 2026 Update

BRITT FAMILY UPDATE

Many of you know that our son underwent surgery in March to remove a complicated middle ear tumor. Though there will likely be another surgery or two within the next year, we are proud to report that he has recovered well and is doing great. Thank you for the prayers, encouragement, support, and grace so many of you extended to our family during this time. Your kindness has meant more than we can express, and it reinforced why we love our patients so much.

I also want to thank you for your patience. Traditionally, April 1 marks the beginning of our fiscal year and serves as the time when we evaluate our services, make important operational changes, and implement any necessary pricing adjustments. This year, however, our family's focus needed to be elsewhere. As many of you reminded us, when family is hurting, everything else can wait. We took that advice to heart and devoted our attention where it belonged. Now, with our son healthy and our family enjoying much needed stability, we're ready to move forward.

BUILDING A STRONGER CORNERSTONE

This year has been one of growth, reflection, and gratitude. Last November, we made the difficult decision to temporarily cap new patient enrollments. While we were humbled by the demand for our services, we knew that continuing to grow without first strengthening the foundation of our practice would impact the level of care our patients have come to expect, ultimately destabilizing our organization as a whole.

Over the past several months, we've taken a hard look at our workflows, systems, and processes, and we've taken your feedback to heart. We brought in a trusted consultant to help us identify areas for improvement and ensure that Cornerstone Health is positioned not only for growth, but for long-term sustainability.

While there is still work to be done, we're confident that these changes will strengthen our ability to serve patients well for years to come. Our goal is not simply to grow, but to preserve the access, responsiveness, and personal relationships that make Cornerstone unique.

PRESERVING WHAT MAKES CORNERSTONE UNIQUE

As we've evaluated the future of Cornerstone Health, one question has guided every decision we've made:

How do we continue providing the level of access, responsiveness, and personal attention our patients have come to expect while building a practice that remains strong and sustainable for years to come?

The answer is not more patients. It is protecting the time, availability, and continuity that define the Cornerstone experience. That commitment has led us to simplify our membership structure and create greater clarity around how we describe the care we provide.

MOVING TO A SINGLE MEMBERSHIP MODEL

Moving forward, Cornerstone Health will operate under a single Concierge Care membership model. This change simplifies how we describe our services and creates a consistent membership structure for all patients. Over time, we have found that the distinction between our Direct Primary Care (DPC) and Concierge Care memberships often created confusion regarding level of service and access.

For us, concierge medicine simply means a smaller patient panel that allows us to provide a higher level of care than is possible in a traditional primary care practice. It means longer appointments, direct access to our team, proactive care coordination, hospital care when needed, and a healthcare team who remains involved beyond the office visit.

In short, it is the care you already know and experience at Cornerstone Health.

TWO WAYS TO ACCESS CARE
While all patients will now be part of the same Concierge Care membership, you may continue to access care in one of two ways:

Patients who wish to use their insurance may continue to do so. Insurance copays, deductibles, and coinsurance will apply according to the terms of their health plan.

Patients who prefer not to use insurance may choose our cash-pay option. Cash-pay visits are $60 per visit, excluding lab-only appointments (cash-pay rates available for all labwork).

Certain medications, procedures, testing, and services may have additional fees regardless of payment method. A complete fee schedule is available on our website.

2026 MEMBERSHIP FEES

Adult Membership (Age 21+): $175/month

Youth Membership: $75/month when enrolled with a parent account

Patients may choose monthly or quarterly payment options. Annual payment options remain available and receive a 5% discount. Annual memberships require a signed commitment and are non-refundable.

WHEN WILL THIS CHANGE TAKE EFFECT?

If you are currently within an active 12-month membership term, your existing rate will remain unchanged until your renewal date. When your membership comes up for renewal, you will transition to the updated membership structure outlined above. Any discounts currently in place will remain unchanged. Patients whose memberships are already due for renewal will receive separate communication regarding your transition timeline.

If you have questions about your specific membership or renewal date, please reach out to me directly.

We recognize that any increase in healthcare costs deserves thoughtful consideration. This adjustment allows us to continue investing in the time, availability, and personalized care that brought Cornerstone Health into existence in the first place.

Our commitment remains unchanged: to care for the whole person through every season of life while preserving the relationships that make medicine meaningful.

LOOKING AHEAD

As we continue strengthening the foundation of our practice, we're excited to share that we have begun welcoming patients from our waitlist and continue to see strong demand from individuals and families seeking a more personal healthcare experience.

That demand is both humbling and affirming. It reminds us that relationship-based medicine still matters and reinforces our responsibility to protect the access, responsiveness, and continuity of care that have always defined Cornerstone Health.

Thank you for trusting us with your care and for sharing Cornerstone Health with your friends and family. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you and look forward to many years ahead.
